0:04 In some programs, mentees choose their own mentor. This is Joshua. The program team has announced that requests are open, so he goes to the mentor selection page.
0:14 The program sets the limits: here, up to 3 requests and 1 match at a time. He can search by name, or filter by what mentors can help with, experience, and role.
0:26 Each card shows the mentor's story, department, experience, and what they can help with. He can message a mentor first, or send a request straight away.
0:35 Joshua already sent a request to Emily Thompson. My Requests shows it is pending. Emily gets an email, reviews his profile, and accepts or declines.
