In the Startup Genome Global Startup Ecosystem Report 2025, Istanbul ranked 3rd among Emerging Ecosystems, ten places higher than in 2024. Startup Genome put the ecosystem value created between 1 July 2022 and 31 December 2024 at $12.9 billion.
The State of Istanbul Startup Ecosystem 2025 report, prepared by startups.watch with the Istanbul Development Agency, counts 18 technoparks, 101 accelerator programs, 55 incubation centers and 16 angel networks in the city, as presented by startups.watch's founder in April 2026.
