Finnish startups raised a record €1.9 billion in 2025, according to the Finnish Venture Capital Association. About 75% came from foreign investors, and Finnish venture funds raised a record €678 million, led by a €425 million fund from Lifeline Ventures.

Looking only at venture and growth investors, Finnish startups raised €765 million in 2025, up 60% on 2024. Of that, €494 million came from foreign investors, up 97%, and 291 startups received investment from Finnish VC and growth investors.
