Venture capital investment in Irish technology SMEs fell 23% to €1.1 billion in 2025, the first annual fall since 2018, according to the Irish Venture Capital Association. There were 186 deals, down 14% from 217 in 2024, and life sciences drew €461 million, or 40% of the total.
