Italian startups raised €1.735 billion across 436 rounds in 2025, according to the Quarterly Observatory by Growth Capital and Italian Tech Alliance. The fourth quarter of 2025 was the strongest on record, with €901 million raised against €316 million in the third quarter.

Ten rounds above €25 million, all in the second half of 2025, lifted the year's total, while nine new funds launched in 2025 raised €545 million. Italy's industry ministry lists a 30% tax incentive for investment in the capital of innovative startups.
