Swedish startups raised $3.2 billion in venture funding in 2025, according to Dealroom. Stockholm accounted for $2.9 billion of it, against $200 million for Gothenburg and $175 million for Malmö.
Formal venture capital investment in Swedish companies rose to SEK 6.9 billion in 2024, after falling to SEK 4.4 billion in 2023. Foreign funds invested SEK 3,706 million in 2024 and Swedish private funds SEK 2,861 million.
