Development & Impact: venture tracking

In incubation and acceleration programs the unit you measure is the venture: stages, program goals, readiness levels and report-ready tables.

In group programs Development & Impact now measures the venture, not the individual. You choose the program type and how ventures join it. Each venture picks its stage and sees ready goals that fit that stage. Stage changes are kept, so you see how many ventures were at each stage at the start and now.

Stages

Idea, Validation, MVP, First customers and Growth. The report says how many ventures moved on to a later stage.

Programme goals

Up to three goals every group carries: written, milestone or number. Groups add their own goals next to them.

Readiness and a weekly pulse

At each check-in a venture picks a level from 1 to 5 for every dimension. If you want, it is asked once a week “How was this week?”, and two hard weeks in a row or a request for help show on the table.

Venture table and reports

One row per venture: readiness levels and what needs a look. The cohort report, executive summary and venture catalogue download as Excel or PDF; reports that leave the organization hide small cells.
