Mentees Can Add Their Own Time Slots

With a new setting, mentees add the hours they are free. Their matched mentor books a meeting in one of them.

Program Settings now has “Mentees can add time slots” next to “Mentors can add time slots”. It is off by default. When you turn it on in a one-to-one program, mentees add the hours they are free on their My availability page. Their matched mentor sees those hours in the Schedule a meeting window on the mentee’s profile and picks one.

The mentee adds the hours

On My availability, the mentee adds the hours they are free. Their matched mentor sees them.

The mentor picks a time

On the mentee’s profile, the mentor opens Schedule a meeting. The calendar shows the mentee’s hours, and the mentor books one.

No video account needed

These meetings run on In-platform video, Jitsi Meet or a place or link the mentee writes. Nobody has to connect a video account.

Hidden again when off

Turn the setting off and mentors no longer see mentee hours.

Mentor statistics do not change

Mentor availability statistics do not count mentee hours.

Guides follow the setting

The user guides inside the platform explain the steps according to this setting.

Where to find it Admin panel → Program Settings → Meeting Creation → Mentees can add time slots. One-to-one programs only, not group programs.

Give every pair an easy way to meet

Availability, booking and video calls sit inside the program, with the reminders that keep pairs meeting.
