MentorcliQ Alternative: Pricing and Features Compared

Updated: October 8, 2026 7 min read

A MentorcliQ alternative is worth considering when your program does not match what MentorcliQ is built for: enterprise employee mentoring and ERG management, sold by quote above an entry plan “starting at $9,900” a year for 100 employees. If you need a free start, public pricing or a non-corporate program, compare a lighter tool. If you need deep HR integrations, MentorcliQ may be the right choice.

This page sets out what MentorcliQ says about itself, compares it with Mentornity on the criteria a buyer usually checks, and is honest about when MentorcliQ fits better.

Read this first. Mentornity publishes this page, so we are an interested party. Every MentorcliQ fact below comes from MentorcliQ’s own website, with the page and the date we checked it. Where we could not find something, we say “not stated” rather than guess. Prices and plans change: confirm them with the vendor.

What is MentorcliQ?

MentorcliQ describes itself as “Enterprise Mentoring Software & ERGs” and addresses HR leaders, L&D leaders and talent teams in global enterprises (source: mentorcliq.com, checked October 2026). It sells two products:

  • MentorcliQ, the employee mentoring software: matching, program design, engagement and success tracking.
  • CommunityCliQ, software for employee communities and employee resource groups (ERGs): member management, events and ROI measurement.

The homepage also lists ATD-accredited training for mentors, mentees and community members, integrations with HRIS, chat and collaboration tools, and a dedicated success team. The main call to action is “Book a Demo”.

MentorcliQ publishes industry pages for financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, media, professional services and technology, which gives a clear signal of the employers it targets (source: mentorcliq.com navigation, checked October 2026).

How much does MentorcliQ cost?

MentorcliQ’s pricing page lists three plans (source: mentorcliq.com/pricing, checked October 2026):

PlanPrice shownWhat the vendor says it is for
CliQ Start“Starting at $9,900.00” per year, 100 employees“Companies launching one program”
CliQ Plus“Get custom pricing”“Companies that are scaling up existing programs”
CliQ Complete“Get custom pricing”“Companies with a broad and more inclusive enterprise strategy”

A few details worth noting from the same page:

  • Currency. The price uses a dollar sign with no currency code.
  • What CliQ Start includes. Smart Matching, guided program design, real-time analytics, a live support desk, the CliQ AI Mentoring Assistant, communication and survey tools, HRIS and SSO integration, chat, conferencing and calendar integrations, a resource library and custom branding.
  • What the higher plans add. CliQ Plus lists a “Dedicated Success Coach & Strategic Partner”, MentorLab training, a mobile app, an advanced ROI dashboard and custom reports. CliQ Complete adds unlimited programs, an annual executive review, LeadershipLab and InclusionLab, “Multi-Language Support” and a benchmarking report.
  • Free plan or trial. None mentioned. The page invites you to book a demo or get a personalized quote.
  • Setup fees. The FAQ mentions guided onboarding and integration support but does not state whether there is a fee.

How does MentorcliQ handle matching?

MentorcliQ’s matching page says its Smart Matching engine is “fully configurable, allowing you to modify matching criteria, rules, and limits”, with example criteria such as department, region, area of expertise, shared interests and seniority. It combines those rules with employee preferences and personality markers, and shows three modes: Suggested Matching, Admin Matching and Self Matching (source: mentorcliq.com/mentoring-software/matching-participants, checked October 2026).

Mentornity’s matching is rule-based and deterministic. Admins set weighted rules and mandatory filters on profile fields, every possible pair gets a score from 0 to 100, and each suggestion can be opened in a side-by-side view showing which rules passed. The same data always gives the same result, so you can explain any match. The mentor matching software page has the details.

Whichever you evaluate, run matching on a copy of your real participant data during the demo or pilot. That shows more than any feature list.

When MentorcliQ is the better fit

MentorcliQ is a strong candidate in several situations, and it is fair to say so plainly:

  • You need HRIS integration with a named system. MentorcliQ lists Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle and UKG, plus custom integrations and API connections. If your IT team requires sync with one of these, that catalog matters.
  • Procurement asks for specific compliance documents. MentorcliQ states SOC 2 Type II, TX-RAMP Level 1 (a State of Texas requirement), GDPR and CCPA alignment, and participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (source: mentorcliq.com/security-compliance, checked October 2026).
  • ERGs are part of the same brief. If you want employee resource groups and mentoring in one vendor relationship, MentorcliQ sells both.
  • You want a services-led rollout. A dedicated success coach and strategic partner, accredited mentor training and an annual executive review are listed in the higher plans.
  • Your organization buys through demos and annual contracts. If budget is approved per year and a sales process is expected, quote-based pricing is not an obstacle.

If several of these describe your situation, put MentorcliQ on your shortlist and ask for a quote for your headcount.

When might a lighter tool fit instead?

A self-serve platform may suit you better when:

  • You want to start before you have a budget. A free plan lets you build a pilot with real participants before anyone signs a contract. Mentornity is free for up to 10 users.
  • You need to see a price up front. Mentornity publishes its pricing per country, with no setup fees. SAML SSO and white labeling are priced separately.
  • The program is not an HR program. Universities, accelerators, alumni associations and communities often need public application forms, office-hour booking or group mentoring for founding teams rather than ERG management.
  • Participants work in several languages. Mentornity’s interface runs in English, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch, and notification emails go out in each recipient’s language.
  • You are running one program, not an enterprise strategy. Fewer modules can mean a faster launch and less admin work.

What other MentorcliQ alternatives should you look at?

MentorcliQ and Mentornity are two of many options. Before you decide:

A practical rule: shortlist two or three vendors, get prices in writing for your expected number of active users, and ask each one to show you the administrator’s daily workflow, not only the participant demo. More help on program design is in our mentoring guides.

Trying Mentornity alongside MentorcliQ

Create a free program, import a few real profiles, run matching and book a test meeting. Then compare the experience with what you saw in the MentorcliQ demo.

What is a good alternative to MentorcliQ?

It depends on why you are looking. If you need an enterprise platform with HRIS integrations and a dedicated success team, compare other enterprise vendors. If you want to start small, see a public price, or run a program outside the corporate HR context, a self-serve tool such as Mentornity, which is free for up to 10 users, may fit. Pilot whichever you shortlist with real participants.

Is MentorcliQ only for large companies?

MentorcliQ positions itself as enterprise mentoring and ERG software for HR and L&D leaders, and its entry plan is priced for 100 employees a year. It lists industry pages for financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, media, professional services and technology. Smaller organizations can still ask for a quote, but the product and pricing are built around employers.

MentorcliQ vs Mentornity: what is the main difference?

MentorcliQ is an enterprise platform that combines employee mentoring with ERG and community management, sold through demos and quotes, with HRIS integrations and a success team. Which one fits depends on your segment, budget and integration needs.

Is this comparison neutral?

No. Mentornity publishes this page. We kept MentorcliQ facts to what its own website says, cited the page and the date we checked it, and included a section on when MentorcliQ is the better fit. Verify everything with both vendors before you decide.
